Over on the Facebook group, I’ve started a discussion brainstorming ideas for classes at the shop. I thought I’d throw that idea up on the blog too (some of you are on both, I realize, feel free to comment on either or both).
One of our forward planning goals for the shop is to offer more in the way of classes and events (as many of you know, we’re still searching for a new store location that would have a dedicated classroom for such events).
We’re considering anything from intro type, one night workshops to multi-week courses that offer more hands-on, indepth training. Plus there’s always the possibility of book groups or discussion circles.
All you Halifax folks (or anyone near enough to the city that you’d be able to travel in for classes) – what sort of topics and formats would YOU be keen to see happen?
